چکیده
The efficacy of chlorfenapyr was studied in the laboratory against carmine spider mite on tomato. acaricide applied at five concentrations, including label rate, separated a log 10 scale. Each treatment replicated three times. LC50 and LC90 values were determined by probit analysis during different periods after application used to determine acaricide. 0.52, 0.50, 0.44 0.38 ml/L when treatments evaluated 24, 48, 72 96 hours treatment. This indicated that highly effective T. cinnabarinus adults. Probit line slopes 8.15, 6.96, 5.50 2.96 application. indicates fast change mortality with increasing concentrations. study found can be effectively control under Botswana conditions, especially combination other methods integrated pest management programs.

Acaricidal Activity and Synergistic Effect of Thyme Oil Constituents against Carmine Spider Mite (Tetranychus Cinnabarinus (Boisduval)).
Studies examining the use of essential oils as replacements for synthetic insecticides require an understanding of the contribution of each constituent present, interactions among these components, and how they relate to overall toxicity. In the present study, the chemical composition of commercial thyme oil was identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Thyme oil and blends of its maj...
متن کاملAnalysis of Insecticide Resistance-Related Genes of the Carmine Spider Mite Tetranychus cinnabarinus Based on a De Novo Assembled Transcriptome
The carmine spider mite (CSM), Tetranychus cinnabarinus, is an important pest mite in agriculture, because it can develop insecticide resistance easily. To gain valuable gene information and molecular basis for the future insecticide resistance study of CSM, the first transcriptome analysis of CSM was conducted. A total of 45,016 contigs and 25,519 unigenes were generated from the de novo trans...
متن کاملInfluence of Exposure to Imidacloprid on Survivorship, Reproduction and Vitellin Content of the Carmine Spider Mite, Tetranychus cinnabarinus
Occasional reports linking neonicotinoid insecticide applications to field population outbreaks of the spider mite have been a topic of concern for integrated pest management programs. To elucidate the impacts of a neonicotinoid insecticide on the carmine spider mite, Tetranychus cinnabarinus Boisduval (Acari: Tetranychidae), the survivorship, reproduction, and vitellin contents of the mite wer...
متن کاملThe Acaricidal Activity of Venom from the Jellyfish Nemopilema nomurai against the Carmine Spider Mite Tetranychus cinnabarinus
The carmine spider mite Tetranychus cinnabarinus (T. cinnabarinus) is a common polyphagous pest that attacks crops, vegetables, flowers, and so on. It is necessary to find lead compounds for developing novel, powerful, and environmentally-friendly acaricides as an alternative approach to controlling the carmine spider mite because of the serious resistance and residual agrochemicals in the envi...

In this study, the cDNA of Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) (Acarina: Tetranychidae) HSP90 (designated TcHSP90) was cloned using a combination of the homology cloning and rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE) approaches. The full-length cDNA of TcHSP90 is 2595 bp, including a 5′-untranslated region (UTR) of 177 bp, 3′-UTR of 249 bp, and an open reading frame (ORF) of 2169 bp. The ORF enco...
